How We Farm

Mobile chicken tractors with our pastured chickens out on grass

Everything we do here starts with one belief: healthy soil grows healthy grass, healthy grass grows healthy animals, and healthy animals make the kind of food that actually nourishes your family. Get the soil right and everything else falls into place. That principle drives every decision we make on the farm.

South Poll cattle on grass

We raise South Poll cattle, a breed that thrives on grass alone in our Tennessee heat without the trouble you get from heavier breeds. We move the herd to fresh paddocks of grass regularly, which mimics the way wild herds moved across the land for thousands of years, grazing an area and then leaving it to fully recover. It keeps the cattle healthy, gives the grass real rest, and builds deep, living soil underneath it all. Our beef is grass-fed and grass-finished from start to finish. No feedlot, no grain, ever.

Pastured poultry

Our laying hens follow right behind the cattle in a mobile chicken tractor we move often to keep them on fresh ground, and they range out across the paddocks doing what hens do best. That's why their eggs come out with deep orange yolks you can taste the difference in. Our meat chickens are raised right on pasture too, moved daily and sometimes more than once a day so they're always on clean grass.

Pasture-raised pork

Our pigs are raised outdoors with plenty of room to root, wallow, and forage, living the way pigs were always meant to live instead of packed into a barn. The result is pork with real flavor and real marbling, the way it tasted before the whole thing got industrialized.

Clean feed, and nothing you don't want

Our chickens and pigs are supplemented with certified organic, non-GMO feed milled by KOFFI in Kentucky, a source we chose on purpose and trust completely. Our cattle stay on grass alone. Across the whole farm there are no hormones, no routine antibiotics, no confinement buildings, and no shortcuts, just animals living good lives on good ground, and food we're proud to feed our own son before we ever offer it to you.

Real Food. Raised Right. Taste the Difference.
